My art today, is a melting of all my previous creative expression from many different mediums.  While working as an advertising artist for Chicago retail stores, I began experimenting with different forms of fiber art, mainly art to wear that I sold through apparel marts in Chicago, Denver and Hawaii.

Slowly my lifelong interest in archaeology and the art of early cultures began to blend into my clothing.  I started adding their designs first to my weaving, then by painting those designs on paper and canvas.  From there, it was a natural progression to include the images of those ancient people and their modern descendants in my paintings.

Currently, my interests include portraits and figurative art.  For me, this combined and expanded all my interests and as an artist, I am pleased with the results.

My art is part of private and corporate collections in the United States, Europe and South America.

I teach at several local community colleges and art centers in the Midwest as well as having private students.
